It was developed based on the CZ-1, the flagship model of the CZ series. This synth was used in numerous techno, house, rave, and synthpop tracks from the late 80s to early 90s. Since you can use the actual SYSEX, you can make use of its assets.

This is the actual CZ-1.

Recorded directly from EMU sp12, OB- MX, LINN DRUM and Fairlight.

The sounds were tracked and recorded through a selection of tube and solid state pre-amps and compressors such as NEVE 1073, Thermionic Culture Rooster, and Electrodyne pres, Distressor, Api 2500 and Drawmer 1978.
